Chulucana pottery is made only in the small village of that name. Pottery making was considered a way to communicate with the secrets of the earth and it was a means to give praise to the creative gods of the universe.

The ceiling churches are some of the most representative pieces of the production potter of the town of Quinua (to 30 km of Huamanga). They present great variety of dimensions and forms, are decorated with designs of flowers and scrolls of white color.
